Auckland After Dark LAN #12
Our flagship all-nighter returns: 180 seats, bring-your-own or rent-a-rig, squad brackets, midnight pizza drop and the loudest final hour in town.
Esports tournaments, all-night LAN parties, expo nights and premium themed evenings — Night of Events runs Auckland's after-dark gaming calendar, from casual couch sessions to 400-guest productions.
Four to six productions a season, every one built from scratch — venue, format, pacing, atmosphere. Here's what's next on the calendar.
Our flagship all-nighter returns: 180 seats, bring-your-own or rent-a-rig, squad brackets, midnight pizza drop and the loudest final hour in town.
Double-elimination brackets across three fighting titles, open sign-up, casual side stations and a crowd that treats grand finals like a title fight.
An evening expo of local studios, hardware corners, demo stations and community stalls — a convention floor that runs on evening energy.
Hosted themed tables with symbolic scoring and professional hosts — elegant entertainment, no real-money play.
One crew, two lanes: high-energy gaming events for the community, and polished casino-themed evenings for corporate and private clients.
The core of our calendar — open-ticket nights built for players.
Private productions with symbolic scoring — nothing to buy in, nothing to lose.
Most event companies hire a hall and hope. We storyboard every night — how guests arrive, where the energy peaks, what people talk about on the way home.
Twelve LANs in and they still find ways to surprise us. The midnight bracket at #11 was the best hour of gaming I've had all year.LAN regularattending since 2023
We booked a casino-themed night for our end-of-year function. Elegant, brilliantly hosted, and the symbolic-scoring format kept the whole evening pure fun — that was exactly the point.Corporate clientAuckland CBD
As a small studio, showing our demo at their expo night got us more genuine feedback in four hours than a month of online posts.Indie developerNeon Nights exhibitor

This website is operated by Night of Events Ltd, NZBN 9429048561734, of Level 2, 48 Fort Street, Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010. By using this site you agree to these terms.
We publish information about gaming and entertainment events we organise in and around Auckland, and take registrations and quote requests. Event details (dates, venues, capacity) may change; we'll notify registered attendees of material changes by email.
Submitting a registration or quote request is an expression of interest, not a confirmed booking. We confirm places by email. Some events have age restrictions, which are stated on the event page — casino-themed evenings are for guests 18 and over.
Our casino-themed evenings are entertainment productions using symbolic chips and hosted scoring only. No real-money play of any kind takes place, and no monetary prizes are offered. These events are not covered by, and do not require, a licence under the Gambling Act 2003 as operated.
You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or submit false or misleading information in forms.
Content on this site (text, branding, layout) belongs to Night of Events Ltd unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce it commercially without written permission.
We take reasonable care to keep information accurate but provide the site “as is”. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
Questions about these terms: [email protected] or +64 9 358 4172.
Our casino-themed evenings are stage-managed entertainment, and we keep them that way deliberately. Here's what that means in practice.
Guests receive a fixed allocation of symbolic chips at the door. Chips have no cash value, cannot be purchased, topped up, exchanged or redeemed for money, and leave the room as souvenirs at most.
There are no buy-ins, no cash on tables, no monetary prizes and no paid re-entry into games. Winners of the evening's leaderboard receive symbolic awards — a trophy, a photo moment, bragging rights.
Tables are run by trained event hosts whose job is pacing, teaching the rules and keeping the room social. Guests who'd rather watch, mingle or hit the photo zone are just as welcome.
Casino-themed evenings are for guests aged 18 and over. All other Night of Events productions state their audience on the event page.
Corporate clients can ask us to swap any casino-styled element for alternative entertainment formats — quiz rounds, arcade stations, team challenges. We build every programme to the brief.
